Girl Power

So hey.

Yeah, I'm still here. It's been quite some time now, hasn't it?

WHAT?! You didn't notice?

How rude! ;)

Haha no seriously though it has been FOREVER since I last posted on this thing! Lot's has been going on though and I am loving every single second of it. Here's a few things that have happened:

-Started working for Dr. Jeffrey Stewart at Coral Desert Foot and Ankle. I LOVE IT

-Went to Little Mermaid at Tuacahn. AMAZING. Everyone needs to go see it. It seriously was the cutest thing in the world. It just blew me away!

-Had Jenny from Korea live with me for a month! She's leaving today :(

-Sam flew out to Japan! I haven't heard from him yet but you can check out some pics on his Mission President's blog. He looks like he's doing great!

-Saw "The Help" and it's seriously so good. The book is amazing, too! If you're looking for a good, lighthearted read, that's your book!
-Started school at Dixie!! Also loving that! My schedule is pristine. Mondays and Wednesdays I have class from 8-12 and then institute from 12-1. Then Fridays I have class from 10-12! No class on Tuesdays or Thursdays for this girl! It's been great!

My institute class is going to be SO great! I went last night with Maddi and Tori and I just loved everything about it!
Earlier yesterday I had such a fun opportunity to help my friend Taylor recruit people to sign up for institute! This one boy kept checking out the table and schedule and stuff that we had and I would talk to him a little every time he came by. Then I asked him if he was thinking about taking a class and he said he was! I was so excited because I thought he wasn't a member (found out he was later but that's besides the point haha) and so I told him to come to the class I was signed up for that night at 7 and that I would look for him there!
Well sure enough, he was there! I felt so good! I told him to come sit by my friends and I and we talked a little bit during class. But it was SUCH a good class! I just felt so good the whole time and I was so happy after!
When class was over, he waited in the hall for me and thanked me for inviting him! He was so sincere and SUPER appreciative that I took the opportunity to invite him to come. He said it was just what he needed and that he hadn't had something like that in a long time. I can't even tell you how amazing it felt guys! I felt like a missionary haha.
But seriously, if you aren't taking institute, SIGN UP ! It's awesome! It's so great to just kick back, relax and recharge for the week! School is hard enough to have to do it on your own. I know that if you make and effort to go that you will be blessed.
Ok that's enough of that ha.

But maybe I should get to my point now, huh?
At one point in our lesson at institute last night, our teacher was talking about women and how they are so much more sensitive to the Spirit. He kept talking about how beloved we are by our Father in Heaven and how much respect he has for us and wants to protect us. He was saying that we are such a precious creation to our Heavenly Father and how we hold such a great purpose. It seriously touched me so much! I just felt this overwhelming gratitude to be a woman! Seriously though! We have so much more potential than we give ourselves credit for, guys! (I mean girls!)
I've made a promise to myself to always remember that I am a daughter of a Heavenly King. I have so much to offer and I am SO loved. I hope you can do the same!

Why can't we all be like this little girl?? Maybe we should try this every morning haha

Also, I just think this is funny haha.
