Oh the weather outside is FRIGHTFUL

I NEVER imagined myself being so happy about a blizzard warning.
EVER.

Today I was taking notes in math when all this commotion was going on in the halls. My class was wondering what was going on and then we quickly found out that campus was closed. The president wanted students to be able to travel home safely for Thanksgiving so he closed campus!! You have no idea the excitement this filled me with. My biology test that I didn't really study for had to be cancelled. Bummer huh? ;)
So thank you weather men and President Benson. We haven't seen any snow yet but it sure was nice to get a little break from school!! Happy Thanksgiving to all! I sure have lot's to be thankful for!

Life can be really challenging. Finals are coming up and classes are getting harder. That only adds to the other things that cause me stress in my life. Like money... finding a job... grades... the future?? But I can't let that stuff get me down.

 Life is soooooo good!!

I have so many things to be grateful for! I have the greatest friends and family that ANYONE could ever ask for. I'm way too lucky to have them. I live in a beautiful place and I'm receiving an education that many in this world can only dream of. I'm young and healthy I have so many great experiences to look forward to.

Sometimes you just need a little reminders to help you realize how much you have and how blessed you really are :)

What's cookin good lookin?

Paige and I are getting really good at cooking!
We're pretty much chefs.
We make all sorts of yummy meals. Most of the time we have frozen burritos or pasta roni but we throw in a few nice, cooked meals every few days. We've made a roast, lasagna, and tonight we made really good chicken!! We've made other stuff too, I just don't want to think about them all ha. I've never even liked to cook and now I kinda do.

I want to get really good at it so one day my husband will give me a big ol' smooch after he eats my scrumptious meal I made for him :)

Halloween!

Why is Halloween so fun?! I love looking at everyones decorations and costumes and also trying to create my own. This year was no exception. Here's a look at what we did!!

FIRST. . . we carved PUMPKINS!

He's a dork, but I still like him a lot :)

Kate and Cody. Their pumpkin was AMAZING.

Robby and Kylee

Kelsey, Tyler and Kylee

Oh boy, look at that concentration.

Our Jacob pumpkin. It turned out soooo good!

Sam made this super yummy cake for everybody! And he decorated it all by himself!!

THEN. . . we went to THRILLER!! (not the same night ha)

Haleigh, Paige, and Terin. We all had so much fun and froze our little bums off!

and LAST (but not least) . . . we went to THE HOWL!

Paige was a cute little cave woman, Haleigh was Alice in Wonderland and she looked adorable. And I was a geek. Ha

Gettin our suspenders on to keep our pants up!

The Howl was pretty cool!! They had lots of things going on around the entire student center building. We watch a lot of people get hypnotized and it was HILARIOUS! We also danced below some crazy, cool acrobats with a bunch of our friends and had a great time! I was also exposed to a TON of half naked people all night. BLEH. Other than being super grossed out and way tired by the end of the night, it was A BLAST!

CAN'T YOU SEE THAT THIS WOMAN IS A NUN??!!

Haha we decided these costumes were way too attractive to wear to The Howl.
I know it's a week late but I hope everyone had a
Happy Halloween!!
